week- I don't even know anymore

Shell's measurements as of 9.2.12

Bust- 105cm
Hips- 103cm
Waist- 87cm (lost 3 cm!)
thighs- 60cm
upper arms-30cm

My weight today is 74kg

Progress is slow, but I haven't exactly been strict with the diet and exercise. I am happy with that though. Slow and steady seems to be easier for me to achieve and maintain a good weight.

Week 3- some progress

It's the start of week 3 so it's time for the weigh-in. We have been much better this week with our eating and thankfully it's starting to pay off.

Brad- 84kg
Shell- 75kg

That's a 2 kg loss for Brad and 1kg for Shell.

P.S Shell has extra incentive to lose weight over the next couple of months- a trip to Thailand in June! wooohooo!

Unfortunately Donna hasn't lost anything this week as she has injured her knee :-(

Week 2 (can we start again?)

So it's now week 2 of our weight-loss challenge and Brad and I have already fallen off the wagon.
We blame camping in the wilderness with 4 children and no amenities for our lack of willpower against alcohol and indulgent food. Now that we are home we are getting straight back into our healthy eating and exercise plan and we vow not to slip up again :-)
Luckily the strict dieting early in the week meant that we didn't put any weight on over the weekend so Brad reamins at 86kg and Shell is at 76kg.

Donna has been a good girl and sent through her measurements and a photo in her sexy gym gear.
Her stats are-
Weight -77kg
Bust - 101cm
Waist - 82 cm
Butt - 113 cm
Thigh - 65 cm
Arm - 32cm

waist- 102cm

We are starting the day with 2 poached eggs, sautéed mushrooms and sugarless coffee.

Welcome 2012!

The year 2011 has been a lot of fun, but very indulgent. 2012 is going to be the start of some lifestyle and dietary changes for all three of us. Donna has already done a lot of the hard yards by losing around 20kg in the last 18 months, but it's the last 10-15kg which is going to be the hardest to shift. Both Brad and Shell were 12-15kg lighter two years ago, but all that wining and dining that went on in the beginning of their relationship has taken it's toll on their bodies.

Our weight loss and fitness goals for the next 6 weeks are:
Brad- 6-7kg loss and doing some sort of exercise 5 times per week
Shell- 6-7kg loss and exercise 5 days per week
Donna- 5kg loss and fitting into size 12 clothes

We will be checking in weekly to record our weight loss and measurements. Wish us luck!
